Ice Whiteout Run does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind. Everything the game saves โ your profile, your catches, your photographs โ stays in the app's private storage on your own device, and deleting the app deletes all of it.

This policy describes how the iOS application Ice Whiteout Run ("the app", "the game") handles information. The app is published by Trident Media ("we", "us"), the developer of record on the App Store listing.
It covers the app itself and this website. It does not cover the App Store, which is operated by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, or any other site or service you may reach from your device.
Nothing. The app collects no personal data, and none of the data the app creates is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
We do not operate a server for this app, we do not have a database of players, and we could not identify you from the app even if we wanted to. The app contains no third-party SDKs โ no analytics library, no advertising library, no crash reporting service, no attribution or measurement framework.
| Data type | Collected | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, phone number, postal address | No | The app has no accounts and no sign-in |
| Contacts | No | Never requested |
| Location, precise or coarse | No | Never requested |
| Health, fitness or financial data | No | Never requested |
| Advertising identifier (IDFA) | No | No ads, no attribution, no measurement |
| Device or vendor identifiers (IDFV, device ID) | No | Not read and not stored |
| Usage and product interaction analytics | No | No analytics SDK is linked into the app |
| Diagnostics and crash logs | No | No crash reporter is linked. Apple's own opt-in crash sharing sits outside the app |
| Purchase history | No | There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions |
| Search history or browsing history | No | The app has neither |
| Game save data | Stored on your device only | Never transmitted |
| Photographs you choose | Stored on your device only | Never transmitted |
Under Apple's App Store privacy taxonomy, the app's declaration is Data Not Collected. Nothing in the table above marked "stored on your device only" is collected in Apple's sense of the word, because it never leaves your device and is never available to us.
The game needs to remember your expedition between sessions. It does that entirely locally, in the app's own sandboxed container, which no other app can read.
Written as a single file in the app's private Application Support directory. It contains your rider profile and name if you set one, your currency and level, your Species Ledger and logged catches, your owned boards, rods, lures and lenses, your talent web, your camp station state, your merits and contracts, your records, and your settings and accessibility preferences.
If you attach a photograph to a Trophy Card or use one as your rider portrait, the app copies that single image into its private container, downscaled to 1024 pixels on the long edge and re-encoded as a JPEG. It stays there. It is not uploaded, not backed up to any service of ours, and not shared with anyone.
The app writes no cookies, sets no advertising or tracking identifiers, and maintains no hidden logs. It does not read anything from your device outside its own container, except a photograph you explicitly hand to it through the system picker or the camera.
Two, both optional, both requested only at the moment you tap the button that needs them. Decline either one and the rest of the game works exactly as before.
You can review or revoke these at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Camera or Photos.
The app makes no network requests during normal play. It works fully offline, in airplane mode, on a plane, or on a glacier.
There are no calls to an API of ours, because there is no API of ours. There is no telemetry beacon, no remote configuration fetch, no leaderboard sync and no cloud save. If you attach a photograph, that image is handled entirely on-device.
The only network activity connected to the app happens outside it: downloading or updating the app through the App Store, which is Apple's transaction under Apple's privacy policy, and visiting this website in your browser if you choose to.
We share nothing, because we hold nothing.
There is no data to sell, no data to license, and no data to disclose to advertisers, data brokers, partners or affiliates. We do not use any information from the app for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making or cross-context behavioural targeting. There are no service providers or sub-processors involved in operating the app, because the app operates on your device alone.
If we ever received a lawful request for player data, we would have nothing to produce.
Support is the one place where you might hand us personal information, and only because you chose to.
When you write to us through the support form or by email, we receive what you send: your email address, the reason you selected, your message, and anything you include in it, such as your device model or iOS version. We use that solely to understand and answer your enquiry.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as it takes to resolve the matter and for a short period afterwards in case you write back, normally no more than 12 months, and is then deleted. It is never used for marketing, never added to a mailing list, and never shared with anyone outside the people answering your message. If you would like your correspondence deleted sooner, say so in your message and we will remove it.
Because your game data never leaves your device, you already hold every copy of it and you can destroy it at any time without asking us.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we have never done so.
Ice Whiteout Run is rated 4+ and is safe for children, because it collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
The app has no chat, no social features, no user-to-user content, no advertising, no in-app purchases and no external links to unmoderated content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where a higher age applies, and we have no mechanism by which we could. If a child has written to our support address and a parent or guardian would like that message removed, contact us and we will delete it.
Game data is protected by iOS itself: it sits inside the app's sandbox, covered by your device passcode and by the device's file-level encryption, and it is inaccessible to other apps. We recommend keeping a passcode set and iOS up to date.
Because no game data is transmitted, there are no international data transfers to describe and no transfer safeguards to apply. Support email is handled by our standard business mail provider; if you write to us from outside the country where that provider operates, your message travels there in the ordinary course of sending an email.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top before the change takes effect. Material changes โ anything that would alter the "we collect nothing" position โ will also be described in the app's release notes. We do not apply changes retroactively.
Questions about this policy, or about privacy in the app, are welcome and answered by a person.
